These are part time positions offering 10 hours per week on a competitive hourly rate, worked across 2 days per week for 5 hours per day, and are a fantastic opportunity to join a global business and develop a career in immigration.

About the team:

The Coordination team is an extremely friendly and diverse team to join with people of all ages and backgrounds. The team is split into smaller sub-teams all with a Senior Coordinator overseeing the workflow and direct line management of the teams.

About the role:
The role helps to provide exceptional levels of business support to a wide range of clients by supporting Fragomen’s UK Inbound Associate’s and Paralegal’s in an administrative capacity. They are exposed to a full range of immigration processes and administrative tasks including:

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting Initial Emails/Letters: draft emails of advice/letters of advice from templates
  • Drafting online visa application forms: draft online visa application forms including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Indefinite Leave to Remain, and others as directed.
  • Paying for applications: submit and pay for online applications and additional services
  • Booking appointments: Book and re-schedule appointments online at the Visa Application Centre
  • Connect Updates: maintain and update case management records accurately
  • Compliance Packs: prepare immigration compliance packs for clients
  • More complex drafting: draft CCLs, first contact emails and cover letters
  • Drafting and Submitting Certificates of Sponsorship: you may be required to take on the additional duty of drafting and submitting Certificates of Sponsorship on the Home office’s SMS system
  • Translation: organise translations

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Managing dropboxes: answering queries from the client, assignees and case workers.
  • Specialist tasks: become an expert in completing tasks in a specialist area, including PSC, Tier 5, Compliance and Private Client
  • Special Projects: take on additional projects as required
  • Support / training:  You may be required to undertake the training of new employees, which could include producing and/or delivering training packages
  • Ad hoc duties: assist with ad hoc administrative functions, as needed

About you:

To be successful in this role you will be comfortable working in a team with excellent communication skills. You will be flexible and have a high level of attention to detail. Immigration experience isn’t required for this role, however would be advantageous.  

Also required:

  • Ability to work flexibly and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Uses communication skills to influence and achieve objective
  • Demonstrate exceptional planning and time management skills with an ability to multi-task.
  • Be able to act under instruction with limited supervision
  • Be able to plan workload, meet deadlines and priorities
  • Ensures work completed is accurate, to a high quality and follows standard layouts
  • Able to act under instruction
  • Completes tasks within agreed time-frames and in line with expectations
  • Completes the minimum number of tasks per day in line with set targets
  • Implement effective processes to manage workflow and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates proficiency in word processing, Internet and email systems

Please note: If successful, this role will require a full 2 week’s attendance in the office for training purposes. Following initial training, the role can then be worked on a remote basis.

Fragomen in Sheffield:
Our Sheffield office is based in the city centre with the added bonus of free on-site parking, as well as several public transport links close by. The office has approximately 400 people working collaboratively and creating a dynamic, positive environment with over 20 different languages being spoken.
