Deadline: not stated so apply as soon as possibleParalegal – Crime Team – LeedsWe are seeking a permanent, full-time Criminal Law Paralegal for our busy Leeds office to join our expanding team.You will preferably:<ul><li>Be currently undertaking, or have completed, legal studies — for example through the LPC/BPC (or equivalent), SQE preparation, or relevant academic modules/experience.</li><li>Be able aim to demonstrate an interest in Criminal law;</li><li>Have Police Station Accreditation</li><li>Have strong organisational skills; and</li><li>Have the ability to work under pressure</li></ul>We would like the ideal candidate to:<ul><li>Provide the highest level of client care in the management of client matters;</li><li>Provide support to Fee Earners;</li><li>Build relationships with internal and external parties;</li><li>Ensure that files are managed effectively, creating letters or documents on the case management system;</li><li>Completing public funding applications;</li><li>Collating and redacting large documents for Court bundles where necessary; and</li><li>Liaising with the local authorities, Police and medical professionals to request/receive documents.
