No fewer than 28 of our current team of lawyers began life at Gosschalks as a trainee, 16 of whom are now partners. With the firm growing year on year, we’re always looking for future solicitors, partners and leaders to join us. As the firm continues to expand we are intending to recruit 3 new trainee solicitors to start in September 2027.Our initial selection criteria requires applicants to have achieved at least three A to C grades at A-Level or equivalent and to have achieved or be predicted at least a 2:1 in their degree. Our next vacancy for a training contract is September 2026.&nbsp;The deadline for applications is 31st July 2025.&nbsp;We are a niche family law firm and we do not recommend you apply unless you wish to have a career in family law.We offer a two year training contract at Dawson Cornwell which will comprise a seat in matrimonial law and a seat in international children law.A large number of our trainee solicitors are taken on as assistants in the firm after qualification. All our staff work from our office in Fulham.You will either have completed the Legal Practice Couse and will undertake a period of recognised training or completed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams and will undertake a period of qualifying work experience.
