Their specialisms are real estate, banking and finance, commercial, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation.

The Job:

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Contract / Temporary Conveyancer / Conveyancing Paralegal. In this role your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for your own caseload of conveyancing files, end to end forfile opening to completion, referring all legal aspects to the Team Manager when necessary.
  • Ensure that telephone calls are dealt with in a professional manner that full telephone notes are taken and escalating any complex queries
  • Regularly update clients and asset managers as to progress of matters.
  • Accompanying management team on client visits and has the knowledge and confidence to contribute to the meeting/training.
  • Problem solving with facts of the case and be confident to discuss the actions with senior members of the wider team.
  • Keeps up to date with changes in current regulations, policies and procedures and technical aspects of conveyancing process/ sharing with colleagues in the sales teams where appropriate.

The Person:

For this role, our client is looking for someone who has previous conveyancing experience / conveyancing Paralegal experience.

  • Previous conveyancing experience is essential for this role gained in a paralegal role
  • Previous experience of title checking freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties.
  • Previous experience drafting and providing detailed advice and proposed solutions to clients.
  • Demonstrates a natural empathy/affinity with clients and a good telephone manner, with a clear diction.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Demonstrates proactivity and attention to detail.

The Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am 5pm

The Location:

Central Bristol, no car parking (hybrid working available)

The Salary:

£18.50 per hour
