The Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship with Damar Training is a structured, work-based route to qualifying as a Solicitor in England and Wales, designed for individuals who are educated to degree level and interested in pursuing a Law apprenticeship. Here's an overview of how the program works.

Damar Training offers:

  • Longer-form apprenticeship (35 months): For non-law graduates, paralegals, CILEX Level 3, conveyancing technicians, or licensed paralegals.

This pathway is designed to lead to qualification through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll rotate through various key legal areas, including:

Litigation Support

  • Assist with claims including debt recovery, disrepair, anti-social behaviour, and possession cases
  • Support lease enforcement and legal access for safety compliance

Conveyancing

  • Gain exposure to property sales, boundary disputes, commercial leases, lease extensions, and more

Data Protection

  • Assist with Subject Access Requests and data breach processes

Landlord & Tenant Law

  • Draft bespoke tenancy agreements and respond to legal tenancy queries

Liability Claims

  • Help investigate and defend personal injury and property damage claims

You’ll also play a part in broader team initiatives, compliance tasks, and continuously improving the services we provide to tenants and customers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Non-law graduates, paralegals, CILEX Level 3, conveyancing technicians, or licensed paralegals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player with a professional, respectful, and positive approach
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Commitment to complete the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE)
