Engineering Contracts Manager & Paralegal (Spanish English)

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingualEngineering Contracts Manager & Paralegalto support our legal and engineering teams across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on Spanish-speaking regions. This hybrid role combines contract management, legal support, and regulatory compliance, acting as a key liaison between internal teams, external counsel, and clients.

Contracts & Legal Document Management
- Draft, review, proof, and edit contracts, licenses, NDAs, and other legal documents in both English and Spanish.
- Assemble and prepare legal documentation for execution and filing with appropriate authorities.
- Translate and analyze Spanish-language contracts and legal documents for English-speaking stakeholders.
- Provide day-to-day legal support to internal project teams, particularly in our Spanish entity, and assist other company entities as needed.
- Support company lawyers in managing contract lifecycles, including negotiation, execution, and compliance tracking.
Legal Liaison & Support
- Act as a liaison between company lawyers, external counsel, and clients to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of legal matters.
- Provide legal and administrative support for public procurement processes in Spanish jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct legal research and compile data from trusted legal resources to support corporate lawyers and internal decision-making.
- Assist in analyzing legal documents and identifying potential risks or compliance issues.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Research and monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments in Spanish-speaking regions.
- Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, including Spanish public procurement regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of legal and contractual obligations and support internal audits or reviews

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5 + years of experience in contract management, paralegal work, or legal operations, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
- Fluent inSpanish and English(written and spoken), with strong translation and interpretation skills.
- Solid understanding of contract law, public procurement, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal/contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, Ironclad, CLM platforms).
Desirable
- Paralegal certification or legal studies qualification.
- Experience working with Spanish public sector contracts or international engineering projects.
- Familiarity with engineering project delivery models (e.g., EPC, Design & Construct).
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
Working conditions:
Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
