Their specialisms are real estate, banking and finance, commercial, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation.The Job:On behalf of our client we are seeking a Temporary Senior Paralegal in Conveyancing in Manchester.<ul><li>Fee earning end to end case work including being responsible for your own cases allocated in accordance with resourcing thresholds, to include some more complex matters</li><li>Preparation of documentation, liaising with clients, customers (as and when required), third parties to progress cases through the appropriate process within SLA.</li><li>Drafting correspondence.</li><li>Reviewing incoming correspondence from third parties.</li><li>Managing key dates.</li><li>Ensuring the case management system is accurately updated to allow data capture and MI to be produced.</li><li>Responsible for delivering an excellent client service through case management.</li><li>Full financial management of matters with high level of financial hygiene specifically in relation to billing,</li><li>Undertake work within the regulatory and industry frameworks, policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain a culture of positive behaviour and role modelling within the team.</li><li>Regularly updating clients on case progress and ensuring prompt billing.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and data protection regulations.</li></ul>The Person:For this role, our client is looking for someone who has previous Conveyancing OR Litigation experience<ul><li>At least 2 yearsof previous paralegal experience.</li><li>A Law degree or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)</li><li>Accuracy, good organisational skills, ability to operate in a fast paced environment and flexibility.</li><li>Good knowledge of Word and Outlook is required and experience in Excel, PowerPoint, interwoven would be beneficial.</li><li>Desirable, but not essential, are proficient Excel skills (with basic and vlookup formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts &amp; managing large spreadsheets) and the ability to export data to other spreadsheets and charts efficiently, whilst also being able to put together easy-to-read analysis.</li><li>Excellent ability to manage a busy caseload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.</li><li>Meticulous approach to reviewing documents, preparing legal documents, and ensuring accuracy.</li></ul>The Hours:Monday to Friday 35 hours per week between 8.30am and 6.30pmThe Location:Manchester, M3 (hybrid working available, 3 days in the office)The Salary:£145 per dayThe Contract:3 months with a chance of extending

In this role your responsibilities will include:Responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Being responsible for your own caseload of conveyancing files, end to end forfile opening to completion, referring all legal aspects to the Team Manager when necessary.</li><li>Ensure that telephone calls are dealt with in a professional manner that full telephone notes are taken and escalating any complex queries</li><li>Regularly update clients and asset managers as to progress of matters.</li><li>Accompanying management team on client visits and has the knowledge and confidence to contribute to the meeting/training.</li><li>Problem solving with facts of the case and be confident to discuss the actions with senior members of the wider team.</li><li>Keeps up to date with changes in current regulations, policies and procedures and technical aspects of conveyancing process/ sharing with colleagues in the sales teams where appropriate.</li></ul>The Person:For this role, our client is looking for someone who has previous conveyancing experience / conveyancing Paralegal experience.<ul><li>Previous conveyancing experience is essential for this role gained in a paralegal role</li><li>Previous experience of title checking freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties.</li><li>Previous experience drafting and providing detailed advice and proposed solutions to clients.</li><li>Demonstrates a natural empathy/affinity with clients and a good telephone manner, with a clear diction.</li><li>Strong numeracy skills.</li><li>Excellent spelling and grammar.</li><li>Demonstrates proactivity and attention to detail.</li></ul>The Hours:Monday to Friday 9am 5pmThe Location:Central Bristol, no car parking (hybrid working available)The Salary:£18.50 per hour
