Private Client ParalegalFull Time, PermanentMonday to Friday 35hrs£22,250-£30,000 DOE(banding guide only) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our clients Private Client team in the Whitley Bay area.The successful candidate will assist with a variety of legal tasks, ensuring smooth case management and effective communication within the department. Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support case preparation</li><li>Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports using Microsoft Word and other Office applications</li><li>Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date</li><li>Assist with scheduling meetings, court dates, and appointments using Microsoft Outlook</li><li>Manage electronic and paper filing systems efficiently to ensure easy retrieval of information</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and external agencies via written correspondence or phone calls</li><li>Support the team in preparing presentations or summaries for court proceedings or client meetings</li><li>Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal standards through meticulous record keeping</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience within Private Client remit </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively</li><li>Good time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with professionalism and discretion</li></ul>
