Position: Legal Secretary / Paralegal (Property) Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid working available) Salary: £28,000 £35,000 DOE Are you an experienced Legal Secretary or Paralegal with experience in property? Looking to join a friendly, forward-thinking legal team where your expertise will truly be valued? Pertemps are proud to be working with a highly regarded firm in Edinburgh who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support their busy property team. What youll be doing: <ul><li>Preparing, formatting, and updating legal documentation and correspondence with precision</li><li>Supporting the full property transaction process from initial searches and registrations to liaising with clients and external parties</li><li>Managing client and matter onboarding/offboarding, including AML and conflict checks</li><li>Organising team diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel when required</li><li>Assisting with billing, invoicing, and other financial admin tasks</li><li>Keeping both digital and physical files organised, scanned, and up-to-date</li><li>Acting as a first point of contact for clients, providing updates and handling enquiries with professionalism</li></ul> About you: <ul><li>Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal, ideally within a property or conveyancing setting</li><li>Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask</li><li>Confident communicator, both in writing and over the phone</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with legal case management systems</li><li>Knowledge of property processes, including Land Registry and SDLT, is highly advantageous</li><li>Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed</li></ul> Whats in it for you: <ul><li>Competitive salary reflective of your experience</li><li>Flexible working arrangements</li><li>Generous annual leave plus additional time off for long service</li><li>Pension scheme and financial benefits</li><li>Ongoing training and support for career development</li><li>A supportive, inclusive and collaborative working culture</li></ul>
