The Job:We are delighted to be assisting our client with their need for a Commercial Property Legal SecretaryAbout the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Property Legal Secretary / Assistant to join our client based in North Bristol. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a team, supporting their commercial property solicitor with a variety of administrative and legal tasks.Key Responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative assistance to commercial property solicitors.</li><li>Document Management: Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, including leases, contracts, and agreements and enquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards.</li><li>Client Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries professionally and maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Diary Management: Manage appointments, meetings, and deadlines, ensuring the efficient organisation of schedules.</li><li>Correspondence: Prepare and manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and telephone calls.</li><li>File Management: Open, maintain, and archive client files in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Land Registry and Searches: Assist in conducting property searches, Land Registry applications, and liaising with relevant authorities.</li><li>Billing and Invoicing: Prepare bills and liaise with the accounts team to ensure timely invoicing.</li><li>Assisting with onboarding new matters</li></ul>The Person: For this role our client is seeking someone who has previous legal secretarial experience, ideally based in Commercial Property <ul><li>Previous experience as a legal secretary/ legal assistant, ideally in a commercial property department.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management systems, and legal software.</li><li>Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.</li><li>Familiarity with HMRC and Land Registry processes and property transactions is advantageous.</li><li>Experience of residential property / post completion work is advantageous</li></ul> The Salary:£25-30,000 The Hours:Monday Friday 9am 5pm (part time hours may also be considered)The Location:Patchway, Bristol 100% office basedThe Benefits:23 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays) + Christmas Close Down
