Deadline: 10am 1 September 2025We have a vacancy for a paralegal in the housing and public law team.Paralegals in our housing and public law team support solicitors in a range of interesting work, including judicial review, housing possession and disrepair claims in the County Court, and homelessness challenges and appeals.The role will require someone with an interest in housing and public law who is well organised and has good communication skills. You will be expected to work hard, be flexible, produce excellent written work and establish relationships with a range of clients. We provide a collaborative workplace where you will be well supported and supervised, and we have excellent resources including a modern practice management system which you will be trained to use. The role will also include providing some administrative support and some reception cover.We expect applicants to have a law degree and/or to have undertaken some post-graduate legal training. It would be a suitable role for applicants who will be completing part-time post-graduate studies towards qualification as a solicitor or barrister. Previous relevant experience would be an advantage but is not essential.The position will be for a fixed term of 12 months, with a possibility of further progression. Paralegal - Housing and Public Law - Hopkin Murray Beskine Solicitors

We are looking for a team of Senior Paralegals to support our client, a multi national professional services company, in central Belfast on a 1-2 year contract. The role is a fulltime position and you will be required to work 3 days per week in office the rest on a remote basis. Your role will be to provide Paralegal support to the team who will own and manage end to end investigation and fact finding in relation to content litigation matters. Responsibilities<ul><li>Partner with internal litigation teams during the pre-claim investigation and early case assessment phases, of active matters to advance knowledge and understanding of claim and ultimately inform legal strategy.</li><li>Proactively investigate, analyse, troubleshoot and drive a range of sensitive and complex litigation and pre-litigation matters to resolution in close conjunction with outside counsel teams.</li><li>Use proprietary tooling to preserve, search, sort and organise large amounts of electronic data related to ongoing and threatened litigation.</li><li>Provide value-add impact to internal litigation teams, by proactively advancing investigations on behalf of litigation counsel, based on subject matter expertise and intimate knowledge of internal operational workflows.</li><li>Prepare high-quality, comprehensive case reports for internal and outside counsel.</li><li>Work autonomously to manage a large docket of matters simultaneously, for various litigation counsel across EMEA.</li><li>Assist with the development of multi-disciplinary structures, policies, procedures, process and controls implemented to manage sensitive information at an enterprise level.</li><li>Drive process improvements and efficiency internally, with a focus on utilising technology to automate manual processes.</li><li>Become an SME on client's products, tools, systems and data</li></ul> Key Skills/Experience Required:<ul><li>3-5 years in a Senior Paralegal position</li><li>Experience in litigation matters</li><li>Strong analytical thinking and attentional detail</li><li>Degree in Law</li></ul>
