Typically, we recruit two or three trainees a year each September.Our Graduate Programme, via the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) routeWe offer a three-year programme to qualify as a Solicitor:<ul><li>Year 1 – You will work within a Legal Assistant / Paralegal role in one of our teams. You might have the opportunity to work in more than one team, however the team you join, and whether you move teams during year one is dependent on business need at the time of your employment. Six months into your first year, you can apply to progress to our two year Training Programme. As a trainee you will work with three or four Directors, gaining experience in several different areas of law: shipping litigation, international trade, commercial contracts, sale of goods and ship finance.&nbsp;Most of your training will be work on actual cases, under supervision.
