Their specialisms are real estate, banking and finance, commercial, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation.The Job:On behalf of our client we are seeking a Temporary Senior Paralegal in Conveyancing in Manchester.<ul><li>Fee earning end to end case work including being responsible for your own cases allocated in accordance with resourcing thresholds, to include some more complex matters</li><li>Preparation of documentation, liaising with clients, customers (as and when required), third parties to progress cases through the appropriate process within SLA.</li><li>Drafting correspondence.</li><li>Reviewing incoming correspondence from third parties.</li><li>Managing key dates.</li><li>Ensuring the case management system is accurately updated to allow data capture and MI to be produced.</li><li>Responsible for delivering an excellent client service through case management.</li><li>Full financial management of matters with high level of financial hygiene specifically in relation to billing,</li><li>Undertake work within the regulatory and industry frameworks, policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain a culture of positive behaviour and role modelling within the team.</li><li>Regularly updating clients on case progress and ensuring prompt billing.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and data protection regulations.</li></ul>The Person:For this role, our client is looking for someone who has previous Conveyancing OR Litigation experience<ul><li>At least 2 yearsof previous paralegal experience.</li><li>A Law degree or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)</li><li>Accuracy, good organisational skills, ability to operate in a fast paced environment and flexibility.</li><li>Good knowledge of Word and Outlook is required and experience in Excel, PowerPoint, interwoven would be beneficial.</li><li>Desirable, but not essential, are proficient Excel skills (with basic and vlookup formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts &amp; managing large spreadsheets) and the ability to export data to other spreadsheets and charts efficiently, whilst also being able to put together easy-to-read analysis.</li><li>Excellent ability to manage a busy caseload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.</li><li>Meticulous approach to reviewing documents, preparing legal documents, and ensuring accuracy.</li></ul>The Hours:Monday to Friday 35 hours per week between 8.30am and 6.30pmThe Location:Manchester, M3 (hybrid working available, 3 days in the office)The Salary:£145 per dayThe Contract:3 months with a chance of extending
