We recruit in Bristol and London in alternate years and so the following intake will join our Bristol office in September 2026.The six-year programme combines learning and study to help our apprentices develop key skills whilst growing their legal knowledge. Apprentices spend one day a week studying with The University of Law towards a law degree and the solicitors qualifying exams. All university and exams fees are paid for by the firm and you will earn a salary throughout the programme.&nbsp;The first year is spent within our legal matter support team, followed by three 12-month placements within different legal teams before joining the training contract rotation for the final two years. You will then be invited to apply and interview for a permanent Associate Solicitor role in your preferred practice area.Support During the Apprenticeship Programme we will entrust you with a lot of responsibility, and fully support you in a variety of ways to ensure you reach your potential.<ul><li>In each seat you will be assigned a supervisor who will mentor you throughout your time in that team, provide training and feedback on how you are doing.</li><li>The Early Careers Team is here to support you throughout your Mishcon journey, from when you submit your application through to qualification.</li><li>You will also be paired with a Buddy who is a current Apprentice and was in your position a year ago, so will be able to answer all your questions.</li><li>You are also allocated a mentor who is a senior Solicitor in the firm, they will help guide and lead you through our programme using their firm knowledge and influence.</li><li>As well as technical legal training, we also provide you with the skills you need to succeed commercially through our in house place of learning, the Academy.</li></ul>Typical Tasks Responsibilities will vary depending on which department you are in and will increase and evolve as you progress through the programme.
