Typically, we recruit two or three trainees a year each September.Our Graduate Programme, via the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) routeWe offer a three-year programme to qualify as a Solicitor:<ul><li>Year 1 – You will work within a Legal Assistant / Paralegal role in one of our teams. You might have the opportunity to work in more than one team, however the team you join, and whether you move teams during year one is dependent on business need at the time of your employment. Six months into your first year, you can apply to progress to our two year Training Programme. It’s your chance to get to know us and to see what it’s like working in a modern law firm.It’s also our chance to get to know you! We regularly invite vacation scheme candidates to then join our training contract assessment process.How the vacation scheme worksThe vacation scheme runs for one week during June or July every year, and is open to:<ul><li>Second and third year undergraduates</li><li>Graduates</li><li>Students/graduates of the LPC, GDL or SQE&nbsp;</li></ul>During your placement, you’ll get to work on real cases and will work in two or three different departments. You’ll get to see the range of the firm’s work and talk to experienced solicitors about what it’s like to work in their field.
