Solicitor Apprenticeships (school leaver) - September 2025 - Fieldfisher
Deadline: 6 July 2025
We are looking for post A-level students dedicated to a career in law to join the firm in September 2025, with a view to complete the Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme and qualify as a Solicitor.
Are you a post-A-Level student passionate about a career in law? We’re excited to invite applications for our Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme, starting in September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn and qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales.
About the programme:
• A structured, six-year programme combining paid legal work with part-time study at The University of Law.
• For the first four years, you’ll work within a dedicated legal team, building your legal expertise and growing your professional network.
• In the final two years, you’ll join the trainee solicitor intake, completing four six-month seat rotations across different departments.
• You’ll work four days per week and dedicate one day to study.
The apprenticeship is an alternative path to going to University that offers the same career destination, but avoids the expensive fees. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for an alternative to University and offers an alternative route to becoming a qualified lawyer in England & Wales.
Our Solicitor Apprenticeship allows you to earn whilst you learn, with a structured programme, which is approximately six years in length. It combines paid work experience and training at a Law Firm with part-time study for a professional qualification.
During your first four years you will work with one team, developing your legal knowledge, building your academic knowledge of the Law as well as developing your internal and external network. In the final two years you will join the trainee solicitor intake and commence four additional seat rotations, each of six months.
