The training is very ‘hands on’ and we aim to give you as much responsibility as you are confident to handle. Amongst other things, we look for candidates with a strong academic background (minimum ABB at A Level (excluding General Studies) and a 2.1 at degree level). Our next vacancy for a training contract is September 2026.&nbsp;The deadline for applications is 31st July 2025.&nbsp;We are a niche family law firm and we do not recommend you apply unless you wish to have a career in family law.We offer a two year training contract at Dawson Cornwell which will comprise a seat in matrimonial law and a seat in international children law.A large number of our trainee solicitors are taken on as assistants in the firm after qualification.
