Deadline 26 January 2026Our solicitor apprenticeship programme is aimed at school leavers who want to kick-start their career with us. The next intake will join our Bristol office in September 2026. We recruit in Bristol and London in alternate years, which means the following intake will be based in our London office in September 2027.Our six-year programme combines practical experience with academic study, helping apprentices build key skills while developing their legal knowledge. One day each week is dedicated to study with The University of Law, working towards a law degree and the Solicitors Qualifying Exams. All tuition and exam fees are fully funded by the firm, and you’ll earn a salary throughout the programme.The application processRecruitment for our Solicitor Apprenticeship begins with an online application form, followed by our new online early talent assessment.This assessment has been designed specifically for RPC, following in-depth analysis of the attributes needed to succeed as a solicitor apprentice here. It explores your strengths, problem-solving ability, and motivations through a blend of behavioural, cognitive, and motivational exercises — giving us a well-rounded picture of your potential. At the end, you will also receive a personalised feedback report to support your development.There are preparation tips and further guidance available on the Prep Hub.If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to an in-person assessment day at our Bristol office in February half term. During the day, you will take part in a variety of exercises designed to help us understand your potential and showcase your strengths.
