Training Contract - 2025
We're on the hunt for the next BPE stars of the future. We’ll invest in your training and skills, and encourage you to meet clients and take on your own caseload from a very early stage. Applications for the 2025 intake are now open.
BPE is different. We know what it takes to run a successful business – and that’s why we have so many successful businesses as clients.
Our open plan office means that partners, trainee solicitors and support staff work alongside each other. We learn from each other, and we enjoy being part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial team. We relish a challenge, and enjoy working with the most demanding clients, ranging from high-growth SME’s to blue chip PLC’s.
If that ambition is one you share and you want to work with some of the leading businesses in the South West, we want to hear from you. Please complete and return this application form to amanda.coleman@bpe.co.uk
Each team provides an exciting and stimulating training environment. You could find yourself getting involved in conference calls, networking at a seminar, attending an employment tribunal or helping to research a target client. We guarantee your training will be wide ranging, intensive and well balanced.
We adopt a flexible approach to your training. If you suspect commercial property may be your eventual specialisation or you have a passion for corporate work we will try to accommodate you.
You will be encouraged to meet clients and take on your own caseload and you will be given the opportunity to enjoy a 'hands on' approach from a very early stage.
The ethos of the firm is 'work hard, play hard' and we make the most of any opportunity to get together and have fun. From regular Friday happy hour sessions at a local wine bar, to firm-wide summer and Christmas parties and an away day for each team, there will be plenty of opportunities to get to know your colleagues outside work.
The firm takes its corporate social responsibility seriously and you will be encouraged to get involved in fundraising for our nominated charity of the year and supported if you wish to undertake a voluntary role in the community. In previous years the partners gave their blessing to five of our trainees trekking across the Atlas mountains in Morocco to raise money for the National Star College.
Applications are now open for the 2025 intake and the deadline for submission is 28 February 2024.
