Property Paralegals - Mandarin speaking

Salary: flexible depending on experience.
My client is seeking to recruit Paralegals with both Commercial and Residential Property experiencewho are diligent, self-motivated and fast learners. The successful candidates will be working directly with a Partner and other qualified staff. Due to the nature of the client base the candidate must a have Mandarin language ability both spoken and written. They will ideally have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience working in a similar role and be able to hit the ground running. The candidates are expected to have a full understanding of the conveyancing process and be able to raise property enquiries, draft reports on title and leases. They must have technical knowledge commensurate to their level of experience as well as a pro-active approach to risk management, a willingness to learn and a good knowledge of property transactions. Client care is a priority for the firm, and the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service to the client. They will be keen to progress and grow within the department. Relevant professional training will be provided and career development opportunities available to the right candidates.
Essential skills
Educated to degree level
Mandarin (Fluent written and spoken)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation
Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment
Attention to detail is essential
IT literate
Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress
Essential Experience
- Drafting AP1s and Stamp duty returns
- Utilising Land Registry Portal
- Using search provider such as Infotrack to order searches
- Preparing financial statements and completion statements
Desirable skills
- Preparing CPSEs and replies to enquiries
- Title review, raising enquiries
- Preparing reports on title
- Drafting Leases, licences and ancillary documents
