We offer comprehensive career development, support and learning experiences across multiple practice groups within our dynamic law firm environment.

Our programme begins with targeted pre-joining events and a comprehensive induction helping to embed you into the firm from day one.

On the Graduate Apprenticeship programme, lasting a minimum of 36 months, you will complete your SQE at the University of Law. One day per week will be dedicated to your study, with the remainder of your week spent working at CMS.

We will ensure that you become fully immersed into the business, through gaining valuable, practical experience across many of our practice groups as well as providing you with world-class training and development opportunities.

You will have the opportunity to learn and work at the same time on your path to becoming a fully-qualified solicitor

Locations

In 2025 we will have positions available in our London office.

Eligibility

Required to have a non-law degree, but must not have undertaken either the GDL / PGDL / LPC or SQE. If you’re a non-law student going into, or in, your final year, you are also eligible to apply.

Career changers that meet the above criteria are also encouraged to apply.

UK bachelor’s degree at 2.2 or above or equivalent (please contact us to discuss acceptable equivalent qualifications). GCSE English and Maths at Level C/4 or above or equivalent. 3 x A levels at Level C/4 or above or equivalent. (Please contact us to discuss acceptable equivalent qualifications)

Salary

£36,500 starting salary
